iPad Lab: Get to Know Islands of Brilliance!

Islands of Brilliance (IOB) is coming to town – and we want to meet amazing autistic youth and young adults (ages 8+) and their families! 

IOB is based in Milwaukee, but we offer daily and weekly virtual programming that uses art, creativity, and creative technologies to spark self-confidence, encourage independence, and build pathways to employment for autistic individuals. Students from around the state join us virtually, and we are also building an in-person experience for autistic individuals 16+ in the Wausau area that will launch in January 2024.

We invite you to stop on by the Marathon County Public Library between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on August 9 – for as little or as long as you’d like! Autistic individuals will get an opportunity to try out iPad tools our students work with during our workshops (no experience required). Parents and care partners will have a chance to talk with our team about which of our offerings might be the right fit for your loved one, and how to sign up for our Medicaid-eligible programs.
